Clay County Medical Center (CCMC) is seeking a dynamic, creative, and community-minded
Marketing, Communications & Foundation Director to join our leadership team. Working directly with the
Chief Executive Officer, this position plays a key role in shaping CCMC's public presence, strengthening community relationships, communicating the full scope of healthcare services we provide, and advancing the mission of the
Clay County Hospital Foundation. The ideal candidate is an exceptional communicator who can build relationships, develop strategic initiatives, and represent CCMC with professionalism and enthusiasm.
About the Position The Marketing, Communications & Foundation Director is responsible for leading CCMC's marketing and communications efforts while overseeing the activities and development of the Clay County Hospital Foundation. This position works with a wide range of audiences, including patients and families, employees, physicians, hospital departments, community members, donors, board members, media, vendors, businesses, foundations, and community leaders. The Director will help strengthen CCMC's connection with the communities we serve by promoting our services, sharing the stories of our people and patients, supporting community health initiatives, and cultivating meaningful donor relationships.
Key ResponsibilitiesMarketing & Communications- Develop and implement marketing and communications strategies that support CCMC's mission, services, and organizational goals.
- Communicate the scope and value of CCMC's healthcare services to internal and external audiences.
- Create, write, edit, produce, print, and distribute communications for a variety of audiences and platforms.
- Develop content for digital, print, social media, internal communications, community outreach, and other marketing channels.
- Coordinate communications with hospital departments, physicians, employees, patients, media, vendors, and community partners.
- Serve as a key point of contact for public relations and media communications.
- Strengthen and protect the public image and reputation of CCMC.
- Identify opportunities to increase community awareness and engagement with CCMC's services and programs.
Community Health & Benefit- Coordinate CCMC's Community Benefit programs and related reporting requirements.
- Manage activities associated with the Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA).
- Help identify opportunities for CCMC to respond to community health needs through partnerships, programs, education, and outreach.
- Promote CCMC's commitment to improving the health and well-being of Clay County and surrounding communities.
Foundation Leadership & Development- Provide leadership and oversight for the Clay County Hospital Foundation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective donors.
- Develop strategies to attract, cultivate, solicit, and steward new donors.
- Work closely with individuals, families, foundations, corporations, community leaders, employees, and other partners to advance Foundation initiatives.
- Plan, coordinate, and evaluate fundraising campaigns and donor-development activities.
- Promote the Foundation and communicate its impact throughout the community.
- Support and collaborate with Foundation board members and organizational leadership.
- Develop compelling communications and stories that demonstrate how donor support makes a difference for CCMC and the community.

Preferred Experience Preference will be given to candidates with experience in one or more of the following:
- Successful planning and execution of fundraising or capital campaigns.
- Corporate leadership, organizational strategy, business development, or management.
- Marketing, public relations, communications, or community relations.
- Healthcare, public health, wellness, or community health initiatives.
- Nonprofit, foundation, or donor development.
- Community engagement and relationship development.
